LUNA70
Your goal is to guide the robot across the lunar surface, moving carefully over the rocks and avoiding enemies
Keep in mind that the robot must be grounded with at least two thirds of its body, otherwise it will collapse
Collision with walls of rocks also causes destruction
At the start you have 9 reserve robots. Every 1000 points will earn you an extra robot (but 9 is still the maximum).
CONTROLS:
- "Z" and "X" buttons to move just one step left and right
- left and right arrows to jump
- Space button to fire. Sometimes you will have to fire while jumping to destroy enemies and hazards
- up and down arrows to change volume
- P or Esc button to pause
Be careful: don't hurry and watch your step!
Mikrosha PC
LUNA70 is a recreation of the original game "Xtro", developed in 1990 for the Soviet computer Mikrosha.
All the levels have been completely redesigned, the mechanics have been improved, and some new enemies have been added. Mikrosha TTF font was developed specifically for this project.
Mikrosha TTF font
Mikrosha is an 8-bit microcomputer based on the KR580VM80A microprocessor (Intel 8080 clone). It was one of the first Soviet mass produced personal computers. Mikrosha had a monochrome display mode: 25 lines of 64 characters. It had pseudo-graphics symbols, which made it possible to simulate a 128 × 50 pixel graphics mode.

The author of the original game is Alexei Matveev, a programmer and engineer at the company that produced Microsha (Lianozovo Electromechanical Plant). The program occupied only 8 kb of disk space (usually programs for Microsha were loaded from tape cassettes)

Some great references here - might pick up one of those for my Robo-8 steampunk console. https://humane-tiger.itch.io/robo-8
